Terms of Use

Last updated 28 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Omar Abdelbaki, who operates MindChart (“we”, “us”), for your use of the MindChart apps for iPhone and Android, the website mindchart.io, and related services (together, “MindChart”). By creating an account or using MindChart you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MindChart.

1. What MindChart is

MindChart is a personal organiser. You capture text, photos, documents and voice notes; MindChart uses automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to file them into sections such as a calendar, to-dos, money and grocery lists, to answer questions about your data, and to suggest a plan for your day.

2. AI can be wrong

Automatic reading, filing, answers, summaries and plans can contain mistakes — a wrong date, amount, name or category. Check anything important before relying on it. MindChart is an organiser, not a source of financial, legal, medical or other professional advice, and money figures it shows are for your own tracking only.

3. Your account

4. Your content

Everything you put into MindChart remains yours. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide MindChart to you and to the people you share with — including sending it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which expire within 30 days. You confirm you have the right to upload and share what you add, including photos, documents and other people's details.

5. Sharing

When you share a section, the people you invite can see it and, depending on their role, change it. A public link lets anyone who has it view that section until you turn the link off. Only share with people you trust, and do not share other people's personal information without a good reason.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use MindChart to break the law; to store or share content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights; to send spam or unwanted invitations; to try to access other people's data; to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service; or to resell it. We may suspend accounts that do, and may remove content that breaks these rules.

7. Free use, subscriptions and payments

8. Other services

MindChart can connect to services you choose, such as Google Calendar or Sign in with Google or Apple. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving MindChart and may add, change or remove features. We aim for MindChart to be available at all times, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If we stop offering MindChart, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using MindChart and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it; where possible we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.

11. Disclaimers

MindChart is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI output will be accurate, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of MindChart; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for MindChart in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 20 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

13. Apple

If you use the iPhone app: these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we — not Apple — are responsible for the app and its content, maintenance, support, warranties and any claims about it. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for handling claims about the app, including product-liability, legal-compliance or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and disputes are subject to the courts of Beirut, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly by email.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies; continuing to use MindChart afterwards means you accept the new terms.
